A Tenebrae Service with music by Barnum, Casals, de la Rue, Dove and Durufle will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral on Thurs. March 26, 7:30pm.
Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows” or “darkness”) is a solemn observance of Jesus’ passion and death which has been practiced by the church since medieval times.
Please join us as we meditate on Jesus’ journey to Golgotha with scripture, hymns, poetry, motets, increasing darkness and silent reflection lead by the Shaughnessy Heights Sanctuary Choir.
